Sherlock is back and John punched him. The detective knows he deserved it and wasn't surprised by the punch. However, his eyes did widen a bit when John nearly tackled him to the ground with a very tight hug.
He felt his eyes burn a little at the soft words muffled on his shirt as the doctor cried, undone. He didn't make much of the words, but he did hear "alive" and "real".
Closing his eyes, he finally felt at home.
